Film and Television actress Kavita Radheshyam, who is currently working in films Paanch Ghantey Mein Paanch Crore and Om Allah, is now appointed as the brand ambassador of International Organization for Animal Protection (OIPA) (India Sector) on honorary basis.
OIPA is an Italy based NGO and it is duly affiliated with United Nations. As the brand ambassador of this organization, Kavita's job will be to spread awareness about animal rights and their welfare in India.
Recently Kavita was in news for her bold photo session where he posed nude to protest against the cruelty towards animals and to save Tigers. Seeing her concern for animals OIPA found her as their perfect brand ambassador.
Talking about her association with OIPA, Kavita said, "I got the idea to do a photoshoot after talking to OIPA's Naresh Kadyan who showed me the video on the cruel killing of leopards. I had expressed my desire to work towards the cause of these animals and also told him about my photoshoot plans. OIPA approached me to be their brand ambassador just days after I made the photos public."
The actress says that she was sure her effort will not go waste. Though at the time of the nude photo shoot Kavita wasn't associated with any animal welfare organization, she is happy and excited that an organization as coveted as OIPA has given her an opportunity to work towards a cause her heartaches for.
